So I was originally going to upgrade to just a new C2Quad Processor, and a 4870 X2. Well, I saw the tax return and now I'm going to get a i7 920 and a GTX 295, so I just need a little extra cash....

I have two 4870 512mb in CFX. I'd definitely get the 1gb versions if I were you. I love these cards, but playing games like Crysis at higher resolutions still slows these cards down.
