Yeah, I've checked it also in clockgen - it's ics954123 - the reading there was something like 1.#J, so I guess the support for this PLL is not at 100%....whatever...I'm starting to think that this...

ASUS P5LD2 SE and E2140 overclocking problem?
Hi, folks!
I recently bought a E2140 proc as a repacement for my old Pentium D. I've red many posts that E2140 can easily go to about 3.0 GHz even without raising the vCore. So I decided to start...

The northbridge heatsink looks big enough and with a FSB of 250 MHz is absolutely cool, so I don't think a 300 FSB will be a problem. About the new board...right now I can't spend more money about...

With 300 FSB and 2.4 GHz (I'm talking about E2140) should I raise the vCore? Or to run Orthos for a couple of hours first? If the system is stable I suppose that the vCore can stay at default?

Hi, there!
I overclocked it to 3.29 GHz (14x235) (default is 2.8 GHz) by raising only the FSB. I have not touched any voltages and the system appears to be stable - I didn't run Orthos, but with...
