My platoon mate did the same thing Tatty. Unfortunately he sold his T69 after a dozen of battles or so.
As much he enjoyed his T71 he hated T69.

But YMMV, different players different playstyles....

SPG's are VERY sensitive to teammates. More than any tank, if you have bad team you're doomed usually.
So for SPG's don't rely so much on WR because dying early is (usually) not your fault. :)
