Yes - Uninstall the old drivers first, run a program called driversweeper, make sure you have AMD ticked in the options - ok it so it cleans all of it out then restart the pc and reinstall the 12.4...

Uninstall the drivers, run a program called 'Driversweeper' before you restart to clean out all the old drivers. Restart the PC, Install the new drivers again and it should be problem free
