It means more choice for all users and that is a good thing. I prefer the linux platform for the stability of it and having extra native gaming options sweet.

Hopefully they have dealt with some of the heat and power issues. IPC is important but you can't really think there will win there for Piledriver.

As said earlier the first games that will run on linux will be ports from OSX. I just feel bad for Desura. When Steam and possibly Origin get into full swing they will be dominating.

It will really come down to the weight, battery life, and design. x86 and x64 already have the "apps" but if manufacturers can squeeze out something that is comparable to first generation ARM tablets...
