The more you have, the more your system will use. If its not using all 4g that you have, its because you only have 4g. Its cheap, and it helps.;)

I would back the speed down to where cas 5 is stable and run it there. Maybe try DDR2 1000 5-5-5-15 and see what that gets you.

Lower the ram speed as mentioned above. Then set your fsb 300. That will put your quad at 2.7 ghz. You shouldn't have to up vcore at all for this. That will give you a small oveclock to start off...
