I'm still waiting to have to Crossfire them!
I have two HIS 4890 I've been using since June 2009, the 850 core clock speed models, with rebates (that I did get) paid less than $150.00 each. From the day I installed them, they were OC to...

Speaker System 5.1
Both are good choices, but if you are never going to crossfire then get the ASUS P5Q, if there is the possibility of running a crossfire set up get the P5Q-E or even better one of the X48 chipset...

Q9550 E0 / ASUS P5QE / mushkin DDR2 4Gb
:banghead:Anybody with this CPU and MB have any OC settings they would care to share with me? I want to see how far I can push it stable, then leave it at 3.4 to 3.6GHz or so, on air.
Thank you in...

IEEE 1394 Front I/O Port
I'm finding PCI expansion slot items, the MB end is correct, but the 1394 end has a mounting assemblly that prevents it from fitting flush/through the I/O knockout. I think I need the bare 1394...

IEEE 1394 Front I/O Port
I am putting together a new build using a Gigabyte GZ-X4 case, the front I/O port has two audio connectors, two USB connectors, and a knockout tab for IEEE 1394. The IEEE 1394 was an option that is...

Q6600 vs. Q9550 / Q9550S
Thank you for all the great input you gave me for my Q6600 vs. E8400 post. I guess I am taking my Q6600 for granted; after all, it is almost two years old, my bad. So now share your thoughts with me...

Q6600 vs. E8400
I just had Intel's tech support tell me the Q6600 is better than the E8400, basically because of the two extra cores. I have a Q6600 and love it, but the E8400 looks pretty darn good. We talked about...

Gigabyte 3D Mars
I won't argue with the Cooler Master, Thermaltake suggestions, take a hard look at the Gigabyte cases. The 3D Mars is a full atx that is missing a removable MB tray, but it's still a dream to work...

Q6600
Take a hard look at the Intel Q6600, GO stepping chips only though. I have one on ASUS P5Q MB with a Thermalright SI-128 heatsink (low 30's at stock speeds), it will game hard or run heavy...

AXP-140 vs. SI-128
It will be interesting to see what the AXP-140 can do, my Thermalright SI-128 will keep a Q6600, OC to 3.5 GHz in the low 50's Celsius at full load, and the SI-128 is 400 grams lighter.
