Its alot more fun having a 5870 Bios on it. Unfortunately it doesn't change the rops or shader units. However its quiet fun though it pumped up the 3DMark Vantage Score Xtreme by 1000 points when set...

HD 5830 Bios Mod ???
I m wondering since these mostlikely are 5870's who didn't pass the QA if somebody worked on a bios mod to unlock the disabled rop's, shaders and stream processors. I rather have them running then...

Just start some games at 1920x1200 or higher resolutions and that HD2900 will eat the 8800GS for breakfast. Seriously should make a 3DMark06 to get a better benchmark result since its less system...

Well i got a 22" LCD and I couldn't even play...
Well i got a 22" LCD and I couldn't even play Lost Planet in DX 10 with my HD 3870 overclocked. So i don't know how you get 60fps or so but i m sure Crysis on high settings takes a lot more video...

Yes i had the stock cooler with the 1.2V Bios unfortunately it didn't give me much more but i m sure it will when i get the 8pin PCi Express on a dedicated Videocard PSU. It will take until next week...

You should be able to run the memory at around...
You should be able to run the memory at around 1000mhz without adjusting anything. That could give you some little extra as well even though the memory doesn't do near as much damaga as the gpu...

My memory did throw artifacts at 1200 which is pretty damn good for DDR3. I can have it run at 1150 without any artifacts but i haven't tried this in gaming out yet only 3DMark06 but i did game a few...
