Works for me, let me know if you need any info for completing support on the 680M :toast:
That card is screaming out for a zalman heatsink, the zalman GV1000 would look awesome and let you clock it to hell and back.
GTX 675M = GTX 580M
GTX 670M = GTX 570M + tiny clock bump
GTX 660M + 650M + 640M = Little kepler with different memory + different clocks.
Yeah my old 5730 reached 875/1100 with DDR3.
GDDR5 offers twice the bandwidth of DDR3 so it's going to be a chunk faster in modern titles.
If you look at the desktop HD5670 vs HD5570 that...
My machine has no specific support for the 6770M so I assume as long as you have a standard MXM slot you are fine.
Its been tested to work in a...
Yeah be aware the memory modules are different and I have increased the core voltage.
Core voltage has a decent impact on max memory speed.
Lol missed that, will check.
0.5.3 is getting every thing right :toast:
Yeah, I need the bandwidth to run at 1080p, my 5730 struggled even with the mem clocked at 1100mhz.
I thought passive modules could now handle 1080p at 60hz?
You do like dividing by zero don't you.
I had a 5730 before...
No, there is some electrical tape around the core to ensure none of the tiny caps get shorted. Not really needed.
I'll be selling it soon.
Yeah the board is amazing.
3 Dedicated phases to the CPU which run cool even with the CPU OCed, it just has phases for everything including ones...
I don't think HP uses MXM.
Only Acer's before the core i series of laptops had an MXM slot (excluding the 8940g which does).
This is a mobile card =)
Cost me £140
Thanks to w1zzard for allowing my card to be set to:
For 24/7 operation.
At a squeeze it can do 900/1125 and score just under 1800 in...
Went ahead and flashed, yep 64k size  all working fine.
still says 16 rops, though more correct info, cheers.
Also it reports 3 sensors, the first (core) looks bang on. The other two are stuck...
Is it possible this is a GDDR5 card with a 64kb bios size?
ATIflash and GPU-Z both extract 64KB bioses from my board.
RBE warns that these could be too small (my card uses GDDR5).
Here is a screenshot of...
Couple of things.
The HD6770M has only 8 rops, not 16.
Also when capturing the bios it only extracts the first 64KB.
This is a GDDR5 card...
