That would be nice:rockout:
Totally agree. But we should first notify them that they will get deleted on a specific date unless they get points. If we don't get any reply or no...
I found a pc too last summer. I got it to work and it still works fine. Keep trying. If it doesn't work part it out and sell it on eBay
What are the original clocks and what mem chips does it have?
What are the problems? Maybe is something else... If we can't help you maybe it's time for an upgrade since this card is really old
It's DDR2. 250MHz * 2 = 500MHz (just 33 below yours)
OK. So the Diamond bios is suitable for you. As for memory clock it will just be 500mhz instead of 533 which isn't anything to worry about
Be careful....Only 2 of them are for 256MB versions. Is your card DDR or DDR2?
:wtf:I don't understand what you mean but, what I mean is that you can flash a "Sapphire, HIS, etc." bios to your card and still work ok
Vendor does not matter. You can flash any vendor's bios as long as it is for a x550 256M and PCI-E
just being curious here? what do you need it for?
why would you need such a program? I don't think there is but someone could code one for you
Page 2 post 29. I applied but I didn't get in the list. Why is that?
Nice but why aren't the sides painted? Also cut a hole to the side(if it doesn't already has one) so you can see the guts of this beauty
Well, the Striker II with the 780i chipset is horribly unstable. Mine died after 1 day. I hope ASUS fixed the problems on this one
They will run equal on both motherboards. The only difference is the support of quad sli
Damn I want some of those gold ones with the tight timings....:respect:
Just a piece of friendly advice. Don't go for the 780i. I did that mistake some time ago myself...:shadedshu
I got that once too with my current card. I had to format my hdd and reinstall windows and drivers
FYI my 1066MHz Hyper-x are great and they have Micron D9s
COUNT ME IN too bro:rockout:
I have the same exact problem. Do you remember me contacting you about this? I think it's time we should let ASUS know about those problems and ask...
Just look how many people had the same exact problem with this motherboard...
I remember an ASUS one that had PCI-E and s478 but they are hard to find
I found it. It's the P4GD1
