They're using the newest Steamroller CPU and Radeon GCN cores from the R7 series and are capable of running BF4 at a usable rate of 25-35FPS.
I too use the E35M1-M PRO for NAS purposes, two PCI-e (x4 and x1), 4 SATA and a nice passive heatsink. Have 15 drives using Flexraid no problems.
I can't help but wonder who exactly they used for research. NBR forums has a 30 page thread on this very notebook and it's basically complaints about...
Put in a Supermicro X7SPA-H ITX Atom board and you've got a 6 drive NAS :rockout:
There're only two or three ITX boards with 6xSATA unless you add...
Power button is on the top.
This isn't a desktop it doesn't need heaps. e.g Xbox 360 and PS3 have 512MB of RAM so in comparison 1GB is considered modern.
No more PCI slots wahoo! Bye bye past.
Apparently all the EVGA 670s destined for NZ were recalled :(
They released their first DLC for Borderlands two months after as well, in all likelihood they had probably been working on it before...
Damn I only just upgraded to 802.11n
The second slot is electrical x4 anyway so this isn't a crossfire/SLi board.
Well it's not a Linux only device it's just using an ARM processor.
Windows CE and Android will work. Other than CE, Windows has never supported...
Looks to be two slots, top is OSD and bottom is 2xUSB and Audio In/Audio Out.

Nice bunch of users we have here. A lot of websites run on advertising only and you wont even allow them to have user-friendly advertising? This is...
Price isn't bad for the size either.
Can I believe my eyes? No PCI?!? There is an extreme amount of stuff going on that motherboard though.
Drat, please support the NF980-G65!
Don't like what they've done to the HDD cage. I can understand that they've opened it up for airflow and allowing larger video cards but not allowing...
Ouch it would be cheaper than that. The G73JH-A2 is only $1700 on Amazon and spec wise its the same.
The G73 also doesn't look like a Christmas...
I think its a great idea.
Make a motherboard that is inexpensive and still works with today's hardware. Sure its not for everyone but it'll suite...
You can build your own for $55USD at http://www.hwtools.net/Adapter/PE4L.html
Since Express card/mPCI-e is limited to x1 there's not much point...
No word from DFI yet :( Hopefully they pull through for my motherboard!
