GTX650Ti is far better than 550Ti. ;)
Gigabyte Radeon R9 280 OC Windforce 3X with slight manual overclocks. The best card which I've had for now, before this I had Sapphire HD5870 Vapor-X...
Even with GTX470 there was a huge difference when I upgraded from Phenom II X4 965BE @ 3.7GHz to i5-2500K.. Now I have older hardware since my Z68...
I can't understand why anyone would buy the fastest single GPU AMD card and a slow processor. An i5 would be minimum if you ask me (or an overclocked...
Not bad :) Maybe I just get a Gulftown to this so I don't need to upgrade other things yet.. :toast:
Notice that my soundcard is in full-lenght slot. :D
I would already say that my CPU and motherboard are pretty nostalgic. :) i7 920 D0 and Asus P6T SE. Still has pretty much horsepower when overclocked...
Wait, what? 3 phases VRM?
Otherwise this would be a decent cheap MB for Pentium G3258, but with VRM like that..
Looks like that they are available in my favourite computer shop. So they have good static pressure?
Yeah it seems :) I just need to find some good static pressure fans for it, these Nexus Real Silent 120mm's aren't very good for a radiator.. Too bad...
Yeah, I guess I should throw that one Fractal 120mm from front intake to the bottom :toast:
Maybe one day, for now it's not so neccessary since I...
I'm sure it has a crapper VRM than the basic model or something..
Cables still need some work and maybe it's time for some dust cleaning.. :toast:
For now my possible upgrade would be an another R9 280, so I guess it will be "I'll buy a Radeon next (any segment)" :toast:
If it consumes 190W in furmark, then there's absolutely no problem with a quality PSU like that Seasonic.
I had an overclocked X800 Pro VIVO @ XTPE many years ago, and damn, I even played Crysis with it. :toast:
Yeah, I had 5870 Crossfire before this, they had power but the 1GB VRAM was a bottleneck.
I just ordered an Asus R9-280 TOP card, cost 188 euros with NSF Gold bundle. :toast:
Damn, I always wanted a Socket A board with 4 ddr slots, but I never got one. :(
Even Teapo (which I say is the best non-japanese manufacturer) caps are second-tier, so why anyone should buy an expensive PSU with crap caps?
Just ordered an Asus R9 280 TOP DC2, I guess that the 3GB is more than enough for 1920x1080 :toast:
My old GTX470 had almost always the memory usage in about 1.2GB of its 1.25GB, and I got only 1920x1080 display.
Haven't even tried nothing else...
Chinese crap capacitors, no thanks.
Nice ones Greiver! :)
My uncle has GTX660Ti SLI setup and he also said that my 150€ 660Ti wouldn't be a bad deal. :toast:
Have nothing "new" to post, but I sold my HD5870s* and now I'm using HD2900GT... Oh sweet lord this is SLOW card, Diablo III RoS runs on 40-60fps...
