Overclocking on cheap boards...but who was VRM?
Thanks for the help. I'll report back once I get the new PSU.
I'm not from the states. I almost cry every time I see these low prices on newegg.
I'll see if I can scrounge up some money to get that 520 Watter. Any point in saving up for a 80+ gold unit?
Only PSU I can afford right now is the Corsair CX500. But I would feel like throwing money out the window seeing the reviews it has.
It restarts only when I enable host clock control, with no change to bus speed or voltage. Does this option change something in the way the board...
Yes, also disabled all power saving features, no change.
I recently bought a used 5870 and placed it in an old 775 system with a Q6600 and a Gigabyte P31-DS3L. Before adding the 5870 I could OC the CPU to 3...
If it's not too late I'm in for Never settle bundle.
No, you won't lose your points, they're tied to your account not to the BOINC client.
I'm also using one or two cores on my work notebook (i5 2430m) I'm running it while at work, just to cut down on my home's electricity bill.
I'll keep running daily throughout the contest and after, although not as much as I am right now due to electricity being 30 cents/kWh where I live....
How much time does it take to validate results? I have about 150 results pending validation, some 4 days old, is that normal?
Allright, I should be able to do that by the end of the week.
I'm a little confused about the 25k points thing. My WCG member page says 90k points, and my boinc manager says 13k work done. Which stat is taken...
Actually, BOINC manager's estimation was off. Looks like it takes around half an hour.I was skeptical about running the 6490m considering how slow it...
Is there any point in using my notebooks 6490m? it takes over an hour to finish a WU with it.
I'm in. Also could someone tell me how to get my Radeon 7750 crunching?
My vote's for Borderlands 2, seeing FarCry 3 holding the no 1 position here has made lose faith in this forum. Game is boring and apart from being...
What it will actually look like ingame:
The PS3 had a custom 7800 series GPU which was slightly slower than the regular one. Remember it was an upper midrange GPU released one year before...
"Selecting a value series display doesn't mean having to settle for less". With ANY LCD monitor you have to settle one way or another: black levels,...
Don't mind this troll."Boo hoo, I'm only getting 56 fps in Metro 2033 but I wan't 58, Intel is a big meanie!"
Try replacing the PSU, I had the same problem last month when my PSU, an Antec, failed on me.
