Some early reviews are coming in:
Yeah I'm using a Crossover 27Q, really happy with it, got it from AccessoriesWhole.
I'm on a GTX 670 2GB @ 1440P, zero issues.
As always underlying GPU grunt will become issue before VRAM limitations really kick in.
Well life isn't fair, besides I really don't agree with buying a higher level character either, but hey equally not everyone wants to grind endlessly...
Indeed, besides they have just come from the excellent Pirates, Heroes and Spies bundle too so they are allowed a hall pass this time.
Good stuff Crytek, the rise of OpenGL and SteamOS continues.
Looking forward to checking out Daylight :fear:
The vast majority of that is made up of language packs you don't need.
35GB of audio :P...
Titanfall drivers, good stuff nV :rockout:
Can't wait, I love this franchise and this looks superb, good to see Rocksteady in the driving seat too.
Sure it's in beta, but it's also being used in a retail game already, soon to be two. My point is I don't see how beyond the initial batch annouced...
When are they going to share Mantle?
With talk of improvements coming to DirectX and OpenGL at the upcoming GDC they need to pull their finger out.
Heavily modified or not, it's still the Unreal 3 engine, doesn't seem like a good candidate for Mantle either.
True, but I'd prefer a shiny new R7 265.
Not bad for a paper Tiger, bit juicy, bit old, but not bad.
Definitely bodes well for future Maxwell releases, great efficiency improvements and you can't even credit a node change this time.
Good stuff, hell I can't afford AMD hardware these days.
DisplayPort seems to be merely a matter of AIB preference, EVGA's 750 range have one and hence support G-Sync at least:...
As the Palit review shows, they OC great and brings the performance in line with faster cards.
That power consumption! :respect:
Can't wait to see what higher end Maxwell is capable of.
I thought we were arguing in metaphors, and in the case of Mantle... diminishing returns.
Is your video playback not accelerated already?
All that hype and I can't help but feel the disappointment flowing through the forums.
I guess it's a nice crutch for weak CPU's.
Yeah the game is OK, nothing too amazing, I'll reserve my judgement after more game time.
