So question.. How come my Titan does not look the same in game as the 970?
aww! yes I remember that now! Good one on remembering that. Now how bout this VXGI stuff lol
How is this so? Can you take screens? Because the AMD card does not support VXGI to my knowledge. So my GTX Titan does not display same as the 900...
Not just the 390x but all AMD cards.
If this windows 10 tech preview wasn't messing up I would post screens right now of vram usage. I haven't even had a chance to look.
So this is something that has always interested me ever since the game Oblivion came out on pc. I don't know if anyone ever noticed or not.. but...
Far cry 4 In 4k uses 6gb easy. not to mention shadow of Mordor
that's the thing though, games are getting more demanding especially in higher resolution
I don't propose anything. I'm just saying 6 is not enough but it will have to make due I guess.
There is performance lost when you use up all the Vram. Crysis 2 for example, shooting the water resulted in 1 fps
are you serious? Is that with the DX 12? This is something I'm most looking forward to seeing besides the other interesting technologies...
Proof? Do you even play on 4k?
12 gb is not to much considering gamea in 4k are exceeding 6 gb. In my opinion the 980 ti should come with 8 gb.
question to someone more knowledgeable.. what is AMD's answer to and Nvidias vxgl
Question.. How do they disable the SMX units? Is there way to re enable them?
"Ash nazg durbatulûk, ash nazg gimbatul, ash nazg thrakatulûk, agh burzum-ishi krimpatul"
One GPU to rule them all, One GPU to find them; One GPU...
6gb is nice, but I think 8 would be better. AMD will launch with 8.
My fellow displayport friends.... anything that takes us above 60hz @4k at 444 chroma is a step in the right direction.
If it's true about the dx12 stacking... man.. 970's ftw. 290x ftw.
I love caselabs. The quality is outstanding and only keeps getting better. My only complaint with this case is seems like it could have better...
I for one am tired of been video pulling fast ones on consumers. If they release a 5 or 6 gigabyte 970 that would be the absolute way to go for 4k...
2,000$ mark my word.
I don't know whether to go ahead and buy used titan on ebay or wait to see what happens here.
I am not making a point here. 4k has already dropped drastically in price since launch, while still expensive will keep dropping. Why? It's too...
I just bought a Qnix 2710 for 300 shipped. Yes it's dropping quickly.
