My one time dealing with VisionTek's RMA as pleasant. E-mailed the tech department about a card not working and wanting to RMA, got a response back with instructions, filled out the instructions, go the info, mailed the card and waited for it to come back. But good to hear that EVGA's RMA process if quick and hassle free, have to do a bit more checking, but I think one of my 260's has a problem with folding where it whines.
whining is a coil or cap...one could be weak or failing leading to voltage fluctuation making the card unstable which would lead to ending untis early or program crashes
