Well, this card is doing my head in. Installed new drivers, old drivers, new mmc, old mmc, different input signals and as a thank you for my efforts it now also buzzes without the tv being on. It even buzzes on the client comp using the eazy connect server thing.
I got this card second hand of a games company that used it briefly for testing their games with -- that wouldn't have done anything would it?
I am going to try someone else's (identical) card to see if that buzzes too -- if no it must be the card, or at least the tuner portion of it; if yes -- then what? the motherboard?
At the moment the card is getting its rf signal off a video recorder which has the ntl cable and the freeview box connected to it. If it still buzzes I'll try to bypass the tuner by using the s-video in, maybe that'll help.
But I do wonder why the hell does it do this buzzing, and why does changing channel get rid?
