Question Choice of memory and motherboard... a bit stuck...

Alrite, I've found myself a gfx card now, but now I've got this issue to deal with...

I need to find a suitable motherboard and memory, but I am unsure which one.

I've got these parts covered already:

- Corsair TX 650W
- HIS Radeon HD 4870 512MB
- Antec 300
- AMD Phenom II X3 720

Now, I've got these questions:

1: I've so far chosen Asus M3A78-T as my primary motherboard choice and OCZ Gold XTC 4096 MB DDR2 PC6400 as memory. But... will those items be compatible with the above mentioned items, perhaps? The motherboard says AM2+ while 720 is compatible for only AM3... Does that mean that I cannot choose 720 for my current motherboard or must I switch to another motherboard? Also, IF it the 720 is compatibe with the M3A78-T, must I flash the motherboard BIOS, or..?

2: Does the M3A78-T include any annoying and loud mini-fans, or?

3: Which memory should I choose between OCZ Gold XTC 4096 MB DDR2 PC6400 and Kingston ValueRAM DDR2-800 4096 MB (2 x 2048)..? I'd guess the OCZ one, yes? Or should I go for another alternative, perhaps? I will not go for DD3 for now, so I'll stick to a DD2.

I am planning to run WinXP x64.

Any suggestions?
