System Specs

Firstly I'm sorta jealous, you got some dough to burn there .

The Core I7 CPU is certainly the way to go if you have the budget and there is where the triple channel ram would come in nicely. This CPU would also require a different motherboard (the one suggested above is a great option). Your choice of video card is not the best for the money, the ATI Radeon HD 4850 or HD 4870 are better options and on the nVidia side you have the GTX 260, all those cards can be had for under $200. You'll be good to go with everything else for a decent gaming setup and if u so desire you can add a second graphics card if you upgrade to a higher resolution monitor in future.
