Hey there are lot of filters and settings for DX which can be modified. and the quality wont be noticeable. in some cases. u get better stability and quality with this mod
The ATI CCC is the problem.. not the driver. the driver settings are set for High quality and Nvidia uses quality. the tweak uses some trick to match nvidia trick
I tested 9800+ on passmark and got 1674 and 4850 got 1333. after my first tweak i got 1590 and u can see the latest tweak gives it 1900+
in the same test..
The FPS in the first test with passmark jumped from 1970 to 3100+ and the second test went from 640 to 830+.. and the best was DX10 form 14.4FPS went up to 21.8
