sigh if I knew that NFS game would messed up my computer I wont even bother buying it =(
good list - do you have any other programs running? deamon tools, soundcard software, steam, anything at all?

we just need to find something in common, so we can see if thats the cause. Oh, and a format would erase any problems the game caused - so unless you installed the game again, the problem wouldnt come back
