Its like a cop smoking pot/doing coke when its against the law, or a cop having sex with a hooker, or any number of other illegal things, its wrong, and against the very definition of their job, hence they shouldn't have the job in the first place.

actually, its not a democracy here. mods can do whatever the hell they please, we only have to answer to w1zzard - not you or any other member of the forum. When a moderator tells someone to grow up, its not an insult. its someone in authority giving you a warning thats just a tad more gentle than an infraction or a ban.

Then they'd go sell it on ebay. its doesnt belong on an IT forum - IT, information technology - not just 'technology'

No, you came and attacked a moderator, and then started coming up with every excuse you could to bend the rules on sale threads and items allowed.

No, it was just you being an ass. tech and info tech are not related, see above.
Nice way to throw another insult in there - since you're allowed to call me names relating to dogs, can i call you the word starting with B and ending with Itch? fairs fair, after all.

so yeah, its good to have SOME black and white rules, or at least list some examples and possibly even have a sticky thread for people to ask whats ok and whats not in sections like the bst forum, that way if you need a ruling on something, you can get it b4 anybody decides to take offense
as to the question "what is tech"
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Technology

again, technology as a term has nothing to do with this website. Info tech, specifically PC hardware is whats allowed. not your random crap, just because you want to bend the rules and argue for whatever reason.
If something is not clearly stated in the rules, moderators get to decide whats allowed and whats not - not you.
