There is no better place to get a laptop. Read reviews yourself. Absurdly good prices, fantastic build quality, great warranty and hands down the best customer service you can find. But don't take my word for it. Find some reviews yourself.

Here is some from reseller ratings. This link is off of malibal's website. http://www.resellerratings.com/store/MALIBAL

I'll be getting one of the lotus series in a month or two with 1080p, bluray, i7 820qm, and an ati mobility 5870, 6gb ddr3. And the price of all that? Guess what you think you'd pay for something like that w/ a 3 year labor 1 year parts warranty and then see what malibal's price is. Unreal.

Also, Sager is a reseller of Clevo, just like Malibal, but Ive found that Malibal is a little cheaper and their warranty is better, plus guaranteed good customer service.

I can't really recommend velocity micro, they are expensive as hell. Stay away from Dell, (alienware) ibuypower, cyberpowerinc. Overpriced, shitty customer service and shady warranties from the latter two. You can get a good warranty fro Dell (Alienware) but you will damn sure have to pay out the ass to get it. Plus their phone support is horrid. Its like they purposely hire the Geek Squad from best buy to talk to you and they aren't very good with tech...

IMO 1. Malibal 2. Sager 3. xoticPC
All 3 are Clevo resellers.

The two laptops you listed aren't bad, but the video cards are not gonna hold up for too long for some of the newer titles. They don't perform as well as their desktop versions. For example, the ati mobility 5870 performs about the same a as a desktop 5770 - 4870. And the GTX285m about the same as a GTX260 desktop if I remember correctly. But a GTS360m isnt gonna so so well in the future. Something to consider.
