Well, your reply makes sense, but consider this:
a) there were bugs like this in OCCT:gpu, I've read up their forums.
b) all the people experiencing these kind of errors had instabilities already (bsods, graphic drivers crashes and such)
c) the errors point to the gfx memory failure, yet OCCT:gpu memtest never found an error
