here is what i am thinking of doing.
take a pipe, hammer + epoxy one end shut.
then out in a wick, add water, and heat the water till it boils and steam comes out. then wuickly seal off the other end in some way. the steam will eliminate the air from the tube. this will create a vaccum. of course everything has to cool down first.
and due to the vacuum, the water will now eveaporate inside the pipe at a lower temparature.
