Of course it is. Think of it as you driving in a Jaguar and Ferrari F430. Both goes fast, really fast, but Ferrari will go much faster in the end. Same case here, the UD3R can support nice overclocks, but when it comes to head-to-head, the UD5 is going to stomp it. Or that's what I have been led to believe. Also, the better board have better parts in it, something which will not show itself until your heavy OC takes its toll on the parts.
