By chance does the so called sli bridge that comes with that mobo say on it SLI or is just the light copper colored ASUS bridge like the one in this review

If it looks like that it is a crossfire bridge not a sli bridge.Sli bidges is always a dark brown or black and has SLI in big white letters,Try the bridges that came with the cards.
