Been there twice Sempron 140 & PIIx2 560 didn't unlock , it's sucks!...
The Sempron unlocked & booted as a dual core but froze at Bios post no matter what i've tried...
Anyhow i exchange it for a real dual core the AIIX2 240 & later on move to my PIIx4 now waiting for bulldozer or go for a PIIx6 , it will all depend on performance & the price tag...
As for the PII x2 560 (C3) it overclock pretty good got 4.1Ghz stable @ 1.450v , it was for a friend of mine & he is quite happy with it , in games there is no real difference between his dual core & my quad core (1-2fp/s max) but in benchmarks i am kicking ass all over his dual core...
