I'm running a Pentium D, two normal IDE Hard drives, two DVD-/+R Drives 2x 512MB sticks of ram and the problem Im having is connecting a BFG 7600GT OC card that doesn't have a 6-pin PCI-E connector.
My last computer was on a 430W Antec PSU running the same thing expect with a Pentium 4 and an ATI Radeon 9800 Pro. I think i really should test out the Antec on my new system to see if thats what was doing it.
Thanks, i feel i know now to be a little more careful when picking out my power supply, but when i did so i was looking for the cheapest and i didn't think i needed that good of a power supply since i wasn't running a massive machine. |
thermaltake i avoid, i had 2 of their tr2 410watt psus blow in a row, wasnt worth paying to ship it back for rma!!!!
i feel ur pain, honesty my 305watt enermax units kick the crap out of all but 1 TT psu and that ones made by forton i think(google around for the model)
my advice try the antech, and grab a psu like mine, they are like 40bucks at the egg!!!
