Hopefully all the good DX9 cards should get a lot cheap so all of the people who tend to hang one step behind like me can get an upgrade
TBH, I think I'll wait about a year before changing anything, and then go to dual core and DX10. To start with, for a year
at least, I doubt many games will actually take advantage of DX10 or be dual core - by then the prices should be noticably lower so it would make more sence for most people to upgrade then. Admittedly these cards should still perform better than the current DX9 cards in current games anyway.
