Plextor LLC, today announced it would not exit the optical drive market despite
earlier reports of its parent company, Shinano Kenshi. Although Shinano Kenshi Co., Ltd., announced on January 19, 2007 plans to perform a corporate reorganization, Plextor optical drives will continue to be available in North and South American markets.
