Well, I used to, until the equations hit me. And then I gave up. All the differential equations and shit like that takes forever to solve, and then when you finally finish your equation you found out that you are only modelling a single wire, extra work for twisted wire, interference, signal strength, etc, and then once you are done with it, you found out that you have successfully modelled the cable.
