Is it possible that mods could be screwing up your quest? I'm running the game mod free (other than LAA).
I have to comment about Ahhzz as well. I keep reading your posts but I just don't understand why you are so harsh towards beth for this issue. It is a big deal for sure but it's not completely game breaking. I played over 40 hours before I even discovered the LAA mod. I just made sure I saved often.
The game is awesome. Beth did such an amazing job putting this game together. I have close to 80 hours in now and I am just amazed by this game. It's something very special. 10x better than Oblivion.
Why would you not want to support this company on future games just because they didn't put the LAA in off the go? I mean if you think the game sucks then I can understand but if your only bitch is the lack of LAA (and modders have provided a fix for now anyway) then why swear them off??
After playing this I can say that I cannot wait to support them more on future titles! Fallout 4 please!

I dont back Ahhzz claims but I can say that the game plain jane no mods or edits crashes constantly to desktop for me, changing the game to be LAA solved all that, currently tho the method of using the mod on skyrim nexus to launch the game using skyrim.exe.4gb means we lose proper crossfire support. on top of that we get 0 driver optimizations so any fixes AMD comes up with are null and void, and without LAA my games unplayable even when freshly downloaded from steam. So essentially with my edits and mods i should peg 60fps easy but i get 20 instead. if i want 60 standard i have to give up stability aka crashes every 5 mins, Its a damned if you do damned if you dont situation, In all honestly it wouldnt kill Bethesda to make the game LAA aware by DEFAULT when the recompile the exe, for each patch, that would be an extremely easy fix and solve problems on both sides. sadly im pretty sure bethesda is to stupid to do that. That said, ive gotten use to 20fps avg frame rates, game looks great with my settings and mods. just kinda sad the regular methods to get xfire working with LAA is pretty much SOL.
