System Specs

I don't think the AA8 uses beep codes. There is a LCD display that is uses to communicate errors. It is located in the bottom Right of your board. Read what it says when you turn on your computer, and then look at pages G-1 through G-5 of your Users Manuel.

Also, if you have multiple HDs/Optical drives make sure the Slave/Master/Cable select jumpers are in the correct positions. When I have made this mistake with other computers it has cause them not to go through Post, and the only thing I would see is a blinking and unresponsive cursor.

Stick with the board though even if it is Dead, just get a replacement. It is well worth it, I love mine .
