Why the change with the new guy? DO you really think it brings in more people? I can see the extra news stories posted on weekends and such without the unecessary opinon bringing in people as well. If I have to roll my eyes any more at some of the "news" being produced here I'm afraid my eyes will give out and I won't be able to read at all.
Couldn't agree more erocker. I've always thought bta has done an excellent job of the news, but now reading some of qubit's posts I find myself shaking my head and wondering why I still come to TPU.

Compare this newspost

to the source article. Anand takes a pretty neutral stance on the issue, AMD PR gave him a wrong number, it doesn't make any difference performance-wise or power-wise, so the end user shouldn't really care about it, but here's an interesting graph on transistor densities of recent CPUs. Heck he doesn't even make it a main news post, it only shows up in his "pipeline" area on the site.

qubit throws in things like "it now turns out that AMD didn't even know how many transistors they have!" or "to add to this tale of fail", and of course has to remind everyone about how much Bulldozer sucks, and how he can't believe it's selling well.

I was actually to the point where I was going to send a PM to W1zzard but then thankfully I found this thread instead.
