So, I'm with Ford here and don't hold such a pessimistic view on this.
I'll bet I know why BT don't explain the reason for the Newzbin censorship: keep the plebs in the dark and there won't be any repercussions over it. In fact, it wouldn't even surprise me if they were ordered by the court to give out as little information as possible in the block message.
