No D-SUB included
I'm quite enthusiastic about the MC101 PRO (A10) but Borebone version. Unfortunately (unlike their previous MC 001 model) there is no D-SUB connector, that decrease the mobility of it substantially. I prefer to connect 2 monitors at the same time (HDMI and D-SUB) or only the cheap and small D-SUB on the go (that available more widely without carry any monitor). The Hudson M3 has VGA DAC, so it would be easy(?) to include. I don't mind being 5mm thicker then. As you mentioned, it would be better with 1866MHz or even with 2133MHz RAM. Why the barebone version has RAM? Would it be more hot, so cooling is an issue then? Can we change the RAM later, or the RAM chips melted to the motherboard (like the BGA packed APU)? I would prefer 16GB later if it has 2 slots (for RAMDISK for temporary files). Otherwise this is what I really want, not only as a media center, but also as my next Desktop. That's why I miss the D-SUB and faster/bigger RAM, that also improve GPU performance. Thicker would be moe easy to cool, although no info if it will be the LV version (A10 LV with 25W) or 35W version. No info if DVB-T uses MP2 or MP4? Probably both, but I use the latter.
