AMD GPU sales were affected by the shortage, and they probably did say so in their own report:

Also while on laptops AMD has a bigger marketshare, in desktops Nvidia has a 60%, so it's more affected than AMD there. In any case Nvidia's Q4 results were much better than AMD's Q4, so it's just a matter of explaining why their operating expenses were higher than before.
