I was told by XFX that this behavior you/I had was a room-temp coldbug, as I had the exact same issues s you did, plus running the card warmer made the problems go away.

Repsol - What he said it about right. I did not have an XFX (that I know), so maybe they have different, perhaps cheaper parts as Cad described above. But that is just SILLY to have a 'room temp cold bug'. XFX FAIL.
