The last single slot i had was the 8800gt like above , i had it two days and the temps were hitting 95c
in game and the noise was worse than a phenom 2 stock fan(and that's bad) .
Third day in i went and got a zalman vf9oo the temps dropped to 65c under load and i could game without headphones to block out the fan noise
i dont miss single slots and i'l never use one again , i wont even buy a card with stock cooling!
