Hi

The difference between Standard AA @ 8x and Edge detect AA @ 8x (24x) is approximately 49.8fps hit in performance Note: this will vary depending on what system hardware you run and is game dependent

Note: AA is not built in to some game engines and this is now being addressed by MLAA and FXAA filters. Unfortunatly this seems to be the only alternative to AA being put forward by AMD and Nvidia at this point in time; only time will tell.
