Its not the same processor and the Sandy Bridge is clocked faster (4.7Ghz). Like I said, at that resolution the game is CPU limited which is why there is little to no scaling with GTX 680 SLI.

I wouldn't recommend SLI or Crossfire at that resolution anyway.
