I understand what you are saying and where you are coming from, and I believe that is the reality, but it is not a truth. It as a changing interpretation that is not explained nor agreed upon method of communication. We should be able to "mod the mods" make it easier for them to do their job as their admin instructs, because what you are saying is the problem...
Give the mods a post forum. Allow members to post there if the mods require. Keep the mods out of public forum, no posts just moderate/police, for a while and lets see if it will make a difference.

That is so far from reality that I actually have problems answering it... Mods are usually users that have shown some dedication/knowledge etc. and thus earned their Mod status. What you are saying is that once a User becomes a Mod, he has to shut up... that is just plain ridiculous. And btw, you are telling W1zzard to shut up here as well
