(that should give you an indication on how much it botters me), the surface in mine is completely matte, turned off it's barely reflective only in direct angle of the light source.
And i've NEVER seen a light bounce in it over the image(and i have my room light behind me).
IF it where a "bother" of any kind, the glorious 8 bit S-IPS, 16:10 and wide gamut MOOOORE than enough make up for it(and if you want, the eye-searing brightness and contrast, i have mine in 0% brightness), those are the important things in a monitor!.
