Toms hardware did a re-review of the GTX480 not tooooo long ago with new drivers and how they matured. very good read that card gained very well over time avg like 11% with what was then new drivers i think the 295.xx series. Also Fermi handles AA really well if your a Anti-aliasing freak like me. Google that article if you feel like while you wait it might help you tune the card and get the expectations inline.
