I don't know, maybe a terrible ppi ratio, so it looks like a pixelated mess when you sit a normal distance from it? It's a touch screen. You have to sit within arm's length to use it as intended. 27" 1080p monitors look like ass at that viewing distance.

And those 27" 2560 monitors aren't all-in-one computers. Apples to oranges.

Speaking of Apple, the 27" iMac IS 2560x1440. If they can do it, so can Asus.

Considering most AIO computers aren't intended for heavy gaming (I certainly wouldn't buy one for gaming), yes, the GT640 is more than enough for 2560x1440.
