Cooler Master 212 Evo... not that good

I just registered to put things under the right perspective for some people.
Although I have no doubt the Cooler master 212 Evo it's a good and cheap Cpu cooler I have to tell my experience with this cooler.
I was using an OCZ Vendetta 2 and after pushing my Phenom II x4 965 to 4.3Ghz and because I was building a Desktop for my Gf I though of buying a new Cooler that I could use myself if it showed any improvement over the Vendetta 2 or to use it on my Gf new build.
The truth? The truth is that now I believe the Vendetta 2 is one of the best Coolers ever made and it's a shame it's almost impossible to get one this days.
Just to throw some numbers (and I have to say that I tried a lot of configurations and I even at one time had 8 fans connected to my pc but it never came close to the vendetta 2): Using the 212 Evo with my cpu @ 3.6 Ghz and voltage @ 1.3v and using Prime95 as a stress test I achieved 51C with 1 Fan and 49C with 2 fans in a push/pull configuration. With the Vendetta 2 @4.1 and 1.475v Ghz I got 58C with 1 fan and 54C with 2 fans I also tried the 212 @ 4.1Ghz but I had to stop Prime95 when it reached 69C. Un both coolers I used the standard provided fan to push and a Scythe Slip Stream SY1225SL12SH 110 CFM - 1900 RPM fan to pull.
I'm not an Ocz fan boy or anything like that, the only thing I want is that you guys that are considering changing your vendetta 2 for an 212 evo realise it's not a good idea and that maybe, maybe the test methodology used this days to review Cpu coolers need to be changed to reflect more the real life situations.
As a final note I wanted to add that I just changed coolers and I kept everything else the same trying to just compare both coolers performance.
I hope someone find what I wrote here helpful...
