I know. My post was not aimed at you but the others who replied. I see these more as small club or bar speakers. I don't think karaoke parties at home are as popular as companies seem to think they are.
As for them being good as desktop speakers or for music production.
Come on. You people probably have never seen one of these types of speakers in person. I have, from many brands and they are huge beasts. Maybe you were thinking of something like this:
Now those are good monitors from Behringer for desktop use and music production.
The speakers in this article are 4 times the size of those!
