Laptops are a bit iffy with drivers. Try to use one from the HP website if you can, corresponding with your HP laptop and graphics card model.

With
desktop AMD's this is not necessary but as I said mobility (ie laptop AMD) cards are iffy and it wouldn't hurt to try this procedure before installing the new driver (Just make sure you have a safe copy of your
current graphics driver. That way if the new one doesn't work, you can re-install the old one easily without having to search all over the net for it.):
- Go into Control Panel / Programs and uninstall your present driver.
- Then get
Driver Sweeper (free) to remove any traces of your old driver.
- This way you should get rid of all the old driver and any file remnants, leaving your laptop clean to install the new driver.
- Install the new driver.
