To test the card out I would give Battlefield 3 multiplayer a try. Find a good 64 player server running Firestorm and play for an hour or so. That will beat the hell out of your GPU.

Several times I got blue-screens while I was watching movies with BSPlayer and once ingame in EVE Online. I dont remember other situations anymore.
I dont want to buy BF3.
